Excavator Flail Mulchers
The terms ‘flail mulchers’ and ‘flail mowers’ are interchangeable and mean the same thing, depending on your region. Flail Mowers or mulchers have swinging or flailing hammers specifically designed to efficiently cut smaller, fragmented material, like dense brush, small branches, leaves, and tall grasses — particularly wet grass. Choose from lower-flow and lighter flail mulchers for smaller excavators as small at 1 metric ton or 3,300 lbs. – we have flail mowers for excavators this small! If you have a larger excavator like a CAT 320 or PC220, we have heavy-duty flail mulchers available for larger excavator sizes also. Flail mulchers are ideal for clearing dense, sticky brush and branches, and for larger excavators, they will also pulverize trees. They leave you, the contractor, with a clean & tidy job site with no cleanup needed. Unlike blade mowers, flail mulchers do not throw the material – they pulverize it! The remaining material acts as an excellent fertilizer and erosion barrier.
